Ex-Fresno cop and girlfriend officially charged in pimping case

Fresno, Calif (KFSN) -- Former Fresno police officer Robert Knight and his girlfriend are now facing prostitution charges.

Knight's girlfriend, Alicia Stapleton, was arrested last month for soliciting sex with an undercover officer. She's now been charged with prostitution.

Knight has also been charged for allegedly arranging the meeting. The two are due in court next month. If convicted, they could face up to one year in jail.
