Sanger man arrested after police find large amount of drugs in his car

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Sanger man faces several charges after Fresno Police found illegal drugs and a gun in his car during a traffic stop. It happened around 11:30 Wednesday night near Cedar and Butler.

Police said they pulled over Andrew Rodriguez after he ran a red light.

Rodriguez was driving without a driver's license and he had a large glass container filled with marijuana. During a search of his vehicle, officers also found $4,400 in cash, methamphetamine, various other drugs, scales, five cell phones, and a AR 15 magazine.

Rodriguez was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
