Couple, 5-year-old daughter found slain in Santa Barbara County home

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- A couple and their 5-year-old daughter were found dead in their hillside home in an upscale neighborhood in Santa Barbara County.

Sheriff's deputies found their bodies in the 4600 block of Greenhill Way on Thursday after they were asked to check on the family's welfare.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Kelly Hoover said the three victims were slain by an unknown killer and that the killings were not random.

The victims were identified as 57-year-old Dr. Weidong "Henry" Han, his wife, 29-year-old Huijie "Jennie" Yu, and their daughter, Emily Han.

Dr. Han owns the Santa Barbara Herb Clinic, which specializes in Chinese medicine, including herbal treatments and acupuncture.
