Wet roads cause semi truck to fishtail and block traffic on Highway 99
Traffic on Highway 99 through Madera is back to normal after wet roads caused a semi driver to lose control.

MADERA, Calif (KFSN) -- Traffic on Highway 99 through Madera is back to normal after wet roads caused a semi driver to lose control.

The truck was going south on Highway 99 near Cleveland Avenue around 6:00 Tuesday morning when the trailer fishtailed in the wet weather. The driver lost control and crashed into the center divide.

The cab ended up going up the concrete barrier and into the number one lane of northbound traffic. The trailer blocked two lanes of southbound 99.

No one was injured in the crash, but it took crews nearly four hours to remove the truck.
