Woman shot in Central Fresno, police searching for gunman

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are looking for the gunman who shot a woman in central Fresno.

Officers say the woman was shot near Franklin and College around 1:30 Saturday morning.

Investigators say the suspect shot from a nearby freeway overpass down into the neighborhood, hitting the woman.

The victim is expected to survive her injuries.
