Drunken argument in Sanger ends in gun fire with one person injured, police search for shooter

SANGER, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is recovering following a shooting in Sanger. It happened around eight Monday night on J Street near Annadale.

Circumstances behind the shooting are still unclear, but officers said the victim and suspect know each other.

Investigators said it appears the two men were drinking and got into an argument when one of them got a gun and fired at the other man.

The victim was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Police are searching for the suspect who ran from the scene.
