Cancer survivors art exhibit unveiled at Fresno State

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new art exhibit at Fresno State is celebrating cancer survivors.

Hundreds of people came out for the unveiling at the Satellite Student Union on Sunday. The display showcases the art and healing process of people who fought and beat cancer.

Several of the artists were also at the unveiling to talk about the experience and how creativity helps people focus on something positive in life.

Action News anchor Liz Harrison had the honor of serving as the event's emcee.

This is the Art of Life's sixth annual art show.
