Clovis principals spread holiday cheer in elf costumes across campuses
Clovis East and Reyburn Intermediate principals braved the cold and wet weather dressing up as "Elves on Shelves" all day.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Students at a couple of Clovis schools felt the holiday spirit on campus Friday.

Clovis East and Reyburn Intermediate principals braved the cold and wet weather dressing up as "Elves on Shelves" all day.

They brought smiles to students' faces by sitting in different places, including Reyburn's roof" In between classes, students made sure to take pictures of the two in action.

The principals say they had fun in their roles and loved seeing students' reactions.

They were squealing, serenading, throwing love, snowballs at us, said Suzi Erickson, Reagan Educational Center Deputy Principal.

Students were also encouraged to take "selfies with the elfies."

The elfies say they covered a lot of ground through the day and ended up on four different rooftops.
