Chris and Francesco are two employees of Squarespace in New York City. Recently, the duo have been making a huge buzz online for their blog Foolsdoart, where they recreate famous works of art using items around their office. The two have managed to conquer classic pieces of artistry including Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa," Pablo Picasso's "The Old Guitarist," and Rene Margritte's "The Son of Man." Each of Chris and Francesco's recreations is undoubtedly hilarious, and exemplifies their ability to create priceless pieces of artistic humor with limited resources.
"All of the painting remixes are done at the Squarespace office in NYC. The only rules are that all props must be things found in the office and all editing must be done on a phone (Android or iPhone)," the duo writes on their website.
The duo's most recent recreation is "Ecce Homo (Behold the Man)" by Elias Garcia Martinez, the painting which was infamously botched in August 2012 after a restoration attempt by an amateur artist.
