Community members unite to support people battling cancer

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A team of strangers and supporters are helping two people battling cancer cope with their illness.

The Fresno County Pink Heals chapter went to Vicki Hampton's home Saturday afternoon to lift her spirits as she fights breast cancer. Then they went to the home of Clovis Police dispatcher Dillon Reed, who is battling leukemia.

Police officers and volunteers presented both fighters with roses and gift cards.
