Couples flock to Downtown Fresno to get married on Valentine's Day
Romance was in the air at the Fresno County Clerk's Office on Saturday.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Romance was in the air at the Fresno County Clerk's Office on Saturday. Dozens of couples tied the knot on this Valentine's Day.

More than 20 couples were even waiting in line for the doors to open at 8 a.m. The office was open until noon in honor of the special day.

Officials say Valentine's Day is one of the most popular times for people to get married and an easy way to remember your wedding anniversary.

The clerk's office is also holding a charity drive for the Sweet Eats Program and Valley Children's Hospital in honor of the holiday. It provides free and easy access to food for families staying at the hospital. If you would like to donate, you can drop off items at the clerk's office next week.
