Dinuba man with autism talks about Autism Awareness Day

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- April 2, 2018 is World Autism Awareness Day and April is Autism Awareness Month.

According to Autism Speaks, landmarks, buildings, homes and communities around the world will be lit up in blue today to recognize people living with autism.

German Cervantes, 23 of Dinuba, is trying to help spread the word. Watch the video above as he offers hope to others with autism and lets families know they are not alone.
