Edison High students spread kindness across Fresno
Edison's principal and vice principals made a deal with students, complete 500 random acts of kindness and the administrators would get slimed at the school rally.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Edison High School's tigers kicked off the new school year determined to spread good cheer on and off the campus.

A celebration at the school's gym Friday celebrated the students who accomplished a challenging goal.

The school principal and campus culture director got slimed during a rally that morning. They, along with the vice principals, agreed to do this if students completed 500 random acts of kindness.

In just one week they accomplished that goal and using social media, the kids posted pictures of the things they did.

Some of them were as simple as holding doors open for strangers and classmates but others went above and beyond.

The students aren't stopping there. Now, they're hoping to accomplish 2,017 good acts by the end of the school year.
