Fresno Grizzlies offering Fourth of July fun at Chukchansi Park

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fireworks will soon be lighting up the sky over Downtown Fresno. The Fresno Grizzlies will be playing this Fourth of July, and the team is preparing for a big celebration.

"We're confident you'll be able to hear our fireworks show miles away from the ballpark, but there will be no better place to see the show than inside the ballpark with your family and friends" said Derek Franks, general manager of the Grizzlies. "Our organization prides itself on being a gathering place for all generations, and we look forward to providing everyone an incredible experience on Independence Day."

A chorizo macaroni and cheese hot dog will be one of the unique food items on Saturday. The "Chorizo Mac Dawg" will only be available at the Fourth of July home game.

Gorilla Gurt, La Acapulquena and El Mexicano food trucks will be on hand. "Chasing Indigo" will provide live pregame music.

The Grizzlies will take on the Tacoma Rainiers on Saturday. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
