LATINO LIFE: Sign Ups Open For Central Valley Unity Race
Organizations Promoting Multiculturism

Registration is open for the inaugural Central Valley Unity Race. The event is organized by Mi Familia Vota Education Fund and Bi-National Health Week Fresno County.

Mi Familia Executive Director Samuel Molina says the event will bring together communities from across the Central Valley to come together to celebrate one another.

The event includes a 3k and 5K Run/Walk at Kearney Park in Fresno on August 5th. Attendees can also enjoy multi-cultural performances, raffle prizes, and healthcare providers will provide free health screenings.

Molina sat down with Latino Life host Graciela Moreno to talk about the event. Molina is the state director of Mi Familia Vota. The organization unites Latino, immigrant, and allied communities to promote social and economic justice through increased civic participation.
