The music of Diana Ross has served as the soundtrack of so many lives. But when it comes to collecting Ross memorabilia, Armando Perez is the boss.

"I don't go around boasting but I keep hearing, 'you're the number one fan." Perez's apartment is a shrine to his favorite performer. He has a dizzying display of Diana Ross items from, magazine covers to concert programs and even dolls.

"When I first heard she was coming to town I was in a daze. I couldn't believe it. I thought somebody was pulling a prank on me," said Perez. He was first drawn to Diana Ross' Motown sound. He has every album she has ever recorded.

The 61-year old became a fan when he was ten. "I would have to say December 1964."

Perez was scrap-booking clippings before it became a thing. The wall of fame only features his favorite posters. 100 More are boxed up. A walk down the hallway became a trip down memory lane. "This little ripped up collage was made 40 plus years ago in the 70's, said Perez.

His "roommates" room is actually another wing of the Diana Ross "museum." Amid the stack of books you can find a Supremes white bread wrapper. "Because in Detroit you could actually purchase Supremes white bread," explained Perez.

Perez has spent a lot of dough on his collection. He says die-hard fans can't afford to miss the Fresno show. "You don't know when she is going to hang up her shoes."

Armando spent $250 to see Diana Ross in Las Vegas, so $60 in Fresno perfectly cured his "love hangover."
