FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- In less than a week, a valley man is geared up to run 200 miles in just nine days and it's all for a great cause.

This is the third year that Ryan Stiner will attempt to run from San Francisco back home to Fresno. The Fresno State alum came up with the feat as a way to give back to the community, specifically for the California Center for Autism which hits close to home.

"When I came up with the idea to do the run," Stiner said. "... For autism."

Stiner will set off from San Francisco on November 3. He will run close to a marathon a day before returning to Fresno on November 12.

A finish line celebration will be held for Stiner where the public is welcome to attend.
