Free wedding for terminally-ill woman
A Wisconsin community gave a free wedding to a couple after the bride learned she was terminally-ill

CEDARBURG, Wis. (KFSN) -- A terminally-ill Wisconsin woman was granted her wish for a wedding and it was all made possible by the generosity of her community.

Jo Murphy, diagnosed with terminal lung cancer four weeks ago, married her fiance Saturday in Cedar Grove, Wis.

The pair first met in high school, but two years ago they reconnected on Facebook and knew they were meant to be together.

When Jo was given just 18 months to live, their friends reached out to the community to create their special day.

Wearing her wedding white, Jo said, "I couldn't have asked for a better day, the weather was beautiful and a lot of people came out and supported us."

Everything from the music, to the decorations, and even a popcorn bar was donated by 20 area businesses.

Groom Phil Zingsheim, said, "It means more to us than the world."

Having the event covered means the bride and groom can shift their focus on their friends and family -- and their love for each other.
