For more than 25 years ABC30 has teamed up with the Marine Corps League and United Way for the Toys for Tots drive.

Since it started in August, Toys for Tots has received around 9-thousand new and unwrapped toys, but that is still far from their goal of more than 43-thousand. Currently the biggest need is for baby boys and girls, newborn to three and 8-12 year olds.

Toys for Tots Fresno County works with close to 200 organizations like the Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army, various churches and a number of schools. But most schools leave for winter break soon, so they're hoping to have toys for school aged children by December 14th.

The Toys for Tots marathon runs this weekend. Drop off a new and unwrapped toy, cash or check at the River Park Shopping Center at the round about. You don't even have to get out of the car to donate!

Volunteers will be there 24 hours a day until Sunday at 4 p.m. drop off a new, unwrapped toys or a monetary donations at river park shopping center near the roundabout.
