YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK (KFSN) -- Our insiders with Top Hand Media shared with us a sweet treat they encountered during their adventure on Half Dome.

As Mike Bowman and his girlfriend Claudia Morrison made their way down they made friends with a ukulele playing hiker, Mark Fiji, who helped them celebrate their first trip to the top by serenading them.

We did some digging on Facebook and found out it was Fiji's second time climbing Half Dome in just two weeks. The first time he climbed it, his ukulele went with him too.

Fiji is an adventurer who lives in Los Angeles but said loves to visit the Valley often because of all of the fun we have to offer. He said it is tough to do the trip carrying the ukulele but it's worth the hard work to see the smiles on other hikers' faces.

Fiji said sometimes people stop to take pictures and record video.

The song he played is called 'Lava,' which he didn't know about until someone on another hike requested it. Some of the other songs he plays include 'Over the Rainbow' and 'Semi-Charmed Kinda Life'.
