Kaweah Delta Health Care District and Sequoia Regional Cancer Center are hosting the 6th Annual Pink Tea Party. It's a celebration for those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. The Asian themed event will feature music, lunch a walk of hope and other activities.

The guest speaker is breast cancer survivor and author Kim Becking. Diagnosed at the age of 30 while planning her son's second birthday, she fought cancer and with friends wrote a book about the experience, called Nordie's at Noon. Kaweah Delta Health Care District Marketing Director, Dru Quesnoy sat down with Valley Focus host Margot Kim to discuss the event and the cause.

Proceeds will benefit The Lost Girls Fund. The fund pays for mammograms and biopsies for women who are underinsured or uninsured and cannot afford them. More than 800 guests are expected at the Pink Tea Party. Tickets are $25.00.
