Valley kids check out construction, first-responder vehicles
There's something about big trucks that children just love.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Children of all ages got to explore construction and first-responder vehicles on Saturday in Northeast Fresno. The New Covenant Community Church held its inaugural Touch-A-Truck event.

Dozens of massive pieces of machinery were lined up and open for kids to climb inside of them. The people who operate the vehicles were also there to answer questions. Several local agencies were represented, including Clovis police, Fresno Fire, Allied Waste Services, Valley Children's Hospital and UPS.

Afterward, the kids got to jump in a bounce house, play games for prizes and take part in an Easter egg hunt.
