FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Clovis woman who lost her son in an ATV accident last year is celebrating his life by giving back to victims of the Detwiler Fire.

Sharla Deaton started 'Roc the Fire' a collection drive as the birthday of her late son approaches. Rocco Rossini would have been 11 on Thursday.

Deaton is getting help from the Fresno Fire Department, which is opening up all 24 fire stations to be used as donation sites. Over the past several days she has collected food, water, toiletries, and other necessities families impacted by the fire may need.

The collection drive runs through next Tuesday and they plan on delivering all of the items they collect the next day.
