Space-X latest rocket heading its way to space after successful launch

CAPE CANAVERAL (KFSN) -- A Space-X Falcon 9 rocket is making its way into space Monday morning after a successful launch overnight.

The rocket blasted off from Cape Canaveral early Monday morning, lighting up the night sky and taking a Canadian communications satellite with it.

Liftoff came an hour and 17 minutes late because of widespread lightning and extensive cloud cover over the area.

This is Space X's 16th flight so far this year.
