Clovis-native Bryson DeChambeau tied for 8th in second day of Masters Tournament

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Playing in his first Masters Tournament, Clovis-native Bryson DeChambeau tied for 8th place in the second day of the Masters Tournament.

DeChambeau, 22, was tied for 2nd place with Rory McIlroy late in the day before earning a 7 on the 18th hole and sliding to 8th.

The Clovis East graduate became just the fifth golfer in history to win both the NCAA crown and the U.S. Amateur Title over the summer, joining Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods and Ryan Moore.
