Los Angeles Dodgers starter Brandon McCarthy has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with right knee tendinitis.

The move comes a day after McCarthy gave up five runs (four earned), yielded two walks and threw three wild pitches over three innings in an eventual 12-6 Dodgers win against the Colorado Rockies.

McCarthy is 6-3 with a 3.25 ERA for Los Angeles this season and previously spent time on the DL this season with a knee issue.
