FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- After turning a fumbled kickoff into a field goal in the opening plays, Fresno State sees Utah take over the game.

Bulldogs head coach Tim Deruyter has said he's like to build depth in this non-conference schedule at every position including the quarterback spot. Entering game three there was some mystery as to who would be the starting QB, and it's freshman Chason Virgil getting the nod.

On the opening kickoff Utah fumbles and Fresno State recovers and the Dogs manage a field goal -- making it 3-0 Bulldogs. But a Utah field goal tied things up.

In the second quarter, Virgil fumbles while being sacked, Utah recovered, and ran it all the way back for a touchtown.

Utah led 17 to 3 at the half and went on to win 25 to 24.
