Edison High School standout weeks away from representing Central Valley in national football game
Steve Stephens was given his official game day jersey in front of family, friends, teammates and the rest of his school today.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Steve Stephens was given his official game day jersey in front of family, friends, teammates and the rest of his school today.

A committee selected Stephens to be a member of the Under Armour All-American Team.

As part of the ceremony, the Dream Award was presented to the school in honor of former Edison coach, Tony Perry, for his impact on Edison's successful football program.

"He had a huge impact and to continue to give out--spiritually working out always brought helped me out."

Stephens has committed to playing for the Oregon Ducks next fall. He is the second Valley athlete playing in the game.

Clovis West's Quarterback, Adrian Martinez, was presented his Under Armour jersey, yesterday.

The game is being held on January 4th, in Orlando.
