Fresno Grizzlies go Back to the Future this weekend
The team is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the movie with new jerseys and Deloreans.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno Grizzlies are once again making national news and this time, it's because they're going Back to the Future.

The team is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the movie with new jerseys and a DeLorean.

The streaking first-place Fresno Grizzlies return to Chukchansi Park this Saturday to begin their second-to-last homestand of the 2015 regular season. The already nationally recognized "The Future Starts in Fresno Night" on August 15th begins the first of eight straight nights with baseball in Downtown Fresno. The Grizzlies will be looking to narrow down their magic number in order to clinch their first postseason berth since their inaugural season in 1998.

The first 1,500 fans through the gates (open at 5:35 PM) on Saturday, August 15th receive a DeLorean Ring with "The Future Starts in Fresno" proudly inscribed on the top. Fans can continue to immerse themselves in the Back to the Future theme even further by getting photographs with a full replica DeLorean Time Machine inside the ballpark, while also bidding on the DeLorean inspired game-worn theme jerseys along the first base concourse (proceeds benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research).

The Grizzlies will take on the New Orleans Zephyrs with game time at 7:05 p.m. at Chukchansi Park.
