Katie Ledecky wins gold in 200-meter freestyle

RIO DE JANEIRO -- Katie Ledecky picked up her third medal and second Olympic gold of the Rio Games on Tuesday night with a victory in the women's 200-meter freestyle final.

Ledecky won the 400 free final, beating her own world record, two nights earlier.

Ledecky finished in 1:53.73, while Sweden's Sarah Sjostrom (1:54.08) and Australia's Emma McKeon (1:54.92) were second and third, respectively.
