LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Rajon Rondowas scratched for Game 3 against the Portland Trail Blazersafter experiencing back spasms shortly before Saturday's tipoff.

Rondo, 34, has not appeared in a game for the Lakers since March 10 but was active heading into Game 3, according to coach Frank Vogel.

The 14-year veteran fractured his right thumb on the second day of Lakers training camp and left the NBA bubble to undergo surgery.

Rondo averaged 7.1 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds before the season was paused, appearing in 48 games for Los Angeles and starting in three.

The Lakers and Blazers are tied 1-1 in their first round Western Conference playoff series.
