Patrick Beverley out for Clippers' Game 3 vs. Mavericks

LA Clippers guard Patrick Beverley will not play in Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night, coach Doc Rivers said.

Rives wouldn't say whether Beverley has undergone an MRI on his left calf strain but said the injury is improving.

Beverley will sit out his second straight game in the series, which is tied at 1.
