CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- With high school and youth football season just around the corner, some local coaches got some instruction Saturday on safety.
The organization USA Football put on a clinic for coaches to go over key safety points of the game, like recognizing when players have concussions, preparing players for extreme heat and even preparing for sudden cardiac arrest.
USA Football is the sports' national governing body, a nonprofit organization responsible for leading the game's development for youth, high school and other amateur football players.
