Fire destroys home in Porterville

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are working to determine what sparked a fire at a Porterville home on Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called out to a house on La Vida Avenue and Milo Street just before 3:00 am.

Officials say three people escaped the flames, but the fire destroyed the house.

Flames also damaged the fence. Fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to neighboring homes.
