Portion of Van Ness Avenue in Central Fresno to close intermittently for roadwork

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A popular street near Fresno City College will be intermittently shut down starting Monday.

Crews will close Van Ness Avenue between Weldon and Clinton avenues Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic will be rerouted in both directions while workers improve the street.

Officials recommend avoiding the area if possible.
