Woman on motor scooter injured after hit and run in Northeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- In Northeast Fresno two lanes of Bullard just east of Blackstone are closed because of a hit and run crash involving a motor scooter.

It happened around 6:00 Wednesday morning.

Fresno Police say a woman was driving the scooter. She is listed in critical condition.

Authorities say the car involved in the crash was last seen driving southbound on Highway 41.

If your morning commute takes you in the area of Bullard and Blackstone please avoid the area for now or expect traffic detours or delays.

Police said they expect to be at the scene investigating for a few more hours.
