Ferguson Fire causing congestion at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Because of the fire activity and park closure at Yosemite, both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are seeing a big increase in visitors.

In fact, the National Park Service is discouraging commercial tour bus operators from visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon right now due to limited bus parking and congestion.

All campgrounds and lodging are also full right now-- including the first-come, first served campsites.
