UC Merced to hold virtual commencement ceremony again

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- UC Merced is preparing for its virtual commencement ceremony next month.

The Class of 2021 will be honored next month on Saturday, May 15.

The university has set up a commencement stage for students to cross. Professional photos will also be taken at iconic campus locations.

But only graduates will be allowed to be present.

Family and friends will have to watch the celebration through a live stream.
