Parent University Offers Classes, has New Location

Parent University will offer a variety of classes for parents and guardians in the 2016-17 school year, starting Aug. 23. Classes will include:

- Early Learning Module

- Traditional Middle School Module

- 12th Grade Module

- mReady to Learn with PBS

- Fresno Police Department's Community Academy

At the new location, Parent University shares space with the Early Learning Enrollment Center. This allows the district to better serve families new to Fresno Unified by setting expectations early on how to be engaged parents, and providing support.

Parent University is a program that empowers, engages and connects families to their school community in support of student achievement through parent learning workshops at all levels of the school system.
