Vehicle in Fresno County canal after a collision involving multiple vehicles

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A vehicle has gone into a canal in Fresno County after a traffic collision involving two vehicles.

The California Highway Patrol says that a van ran a stop sign while traveling northbound on Goldenrod Avenue and hit an SUV going westbound on Belmont Avenue. After the collision, the van went into a canal while the SUV hit the fence of a home in the area.

Two people were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
