Visalia changing how voters elect city council members

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Visalia is getting ready to change how voters elect city council members. The city is going to a district system in 2016 and they want voters to help draw up the boundaries. There are 14 different possible maps to choose from.

The city is holding two public meetings to gain input. The first meeting is Tuesday night at Annie Mitchell Elementary. The address is 2121 East. Laura Avenue. The meeting will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The next meeting will be held on the 28th of this month.
