Despite hot weekend ahead, Kings County Fair hopes to break attendance record
Kings County Fair goes through Sunday, dollar admission on Sunday before 6 p.m.

HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) -- Despite triple digit temperatures ahead this weekend, organizers at the Kings County Fair are hoping to have a record-breaking year for attendance.

They say more than 30,000 people came out to the fair last year. It lasts through Sunday and admission is $10 dollars for adults and $5 for kids.

Kings County Fair CEO says the Egyptian wildlife exhibit and DockDogs are expected to be big hits this year.

She says it may have been a little cooler last year, but there are still plenty of places to cool off while you're at the fair this weekend.

"We have plenty of air conditioned buildings and lots of shade and lots of water so as long as you stay hydrated everyone should be fine," Kate Moroles-O' Neil said.

Saturday is Heroes Day where all military receive free admission to the fair.

Sunday is $1 admission before 6 p.m. For the fair's daily schedule, click here.
