PHILLIPINES (KFSN) -- Tropical Storm Tembin in the southern Philippines has swamped entire villages leaving more than 120 people dead and 160 others missing.
Officials say at least 75 deaths have been caused by landslides and sudden surges of floodwaters. A search and rescue operation is now underway for those still missing.
Tembin is now bearing down on another set of Philippine islands and is projected to hit the southern-most tip of Palawan Island, which is a popular tourist destination in the western Philippines.
