Woman killed in crash with suspected drunk driver in Clovis

CHP officers say a drunk driver in a Dodge pick-up did not stop at a stop sign and collided with a woman's Jeep at Minnewawa and Shepherd.

The incident happened just before 1:30 Saturday morning.

The victim in the Jeep was a 50-year-old woman but her name has not been released as officers notify her family.

The driver of the Dodge ran from the scene but was later found and taken into custody. He has been identified as 42-year-old Americo Aguirre.
