Leticia Velarde, a Madera County resident, realized she had possibly lost the money at Best Buy after seeing the story on ABC30's Facebook page.
She said she didn't think it was possible to be there because she was only at the store for 20 minutes. She initially thought she left it at Sam's Club while buying a gaming chair.
Velarde gave store employees information to match surveillance, and the money was returned to her!
The money was originally given to her to reimburse her for charges towards her daughter's dance team.
Verlade thanked the person who found the money and all the employees who worked to find her.
