Officials say it happened just after 5 am Friday on Rall avenue near Sunnyside.
When firefighters got there, they found the home engulfed in flames.
Neighbors told crews that the home was unoccupied.
Fire officials say no one was hurt in the blaze, but unfortunately, one animal died.
Firefighters say the home is a complete loss.
No other buildings were damaged.
What caused the fire is under investigation.
