PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- The show curator says it celebrates art that might otherwise get ignored or ridiculed. There are three categories: rejected work, tongue -in- cheek and commercial junk.

About 40 local artists entered there are about 100 pieces on display.

Uncle Bill Warner of the Porterville Art Association said, "It serves as something to stretch the imagination and it is mainly about fun and that is the bottom line and everybody is a winner."

The Bad Art Show is open to the public and you can catch it until March at the Porterville Art Association gallery.
