Questions and lawsuits looming one year after fatal shooting of Dylan Noble

Monday, June 26, 2017
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Friends marked the one-year anniversary of Dylan Noble's death on Sunday.

On June 25th, 2016, Fresno Police shot the 19-year-old four times, killing him outside an east-central Fresno gas station.

Officers say they were looking for an armed suspect. Noble was not armed, but an autopsy showed he was intoxicated.

Police body cameras also showed he made movements with his hands. Six months after that shooting, Police Chief Jerry Dyer said the incident was justified.

But Dyer also said the officer who fired the fourth shot didn't use appropriate tactics.

Noble's parents are suing the city and the Fresno Police Department for wrongful death.
