Class action lawsuit targets EpiPen maker

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A drug company accused of increasing prices more than 500 percent has been hit with a class action lawsuit.

Mylan is the company behind the EpiPen. It is used by millions to prevent a life-threatening allergic reaction.

The complaint accuses Mylan of charging patients more than $600 dollars for a drug worth about $90.

The lawsuit will represent people nationwide.
