Federal funding will be available to help pay for funeral costs for victims of shooting spree

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Valley Congressman Jim Costa announced federal funding will be available to help pay for the victims' funeral costs.

The money comes from the Crime Victims Fund and will cover whatever the families need.

Costa also stressed the focus of the community should be on helping these families heal.

The Crime Victims Fund gets money through criminal fines and penalties, not through taxpayers.
